Brig-Swizerland

Located in the heart of the Valais, Brig is also an important
crossroad for international connections. The small town is steeped
in history and gladly shares its many treasures with visiting guests.

Don't miss the magnificent Stockalper castle and the stately homes
of former noblemen, nor the cozy inns and hotels that account for
much of its charm. You will appreciate walking the small, winding
alleys, breathing the crisp mountain air that sweeps down from the
surrounding mountains with tales of villages and resorts up above.
Your eyes will be drawn to the horizon, where the Simplon, one of
the grandest mountain passes opens a passage to the south. You will

the most demanding guest. The Simplon hall, the former court and
knights quarters, inside the Stockalper castle, the Alfred-Grünwald
hall at the town library, the theater hall and the church quarters
are all well equipped and available for seminaries and congresses.

Make sure that you visit the Rhone Glacier which lies nearby when
you're in Brig. Ypu can also visit the resorts of Saas Fee and
Zermatt which are near to Brig as well as Italy via a major tunnel
through the Alps.
The historic and picturesque town of Brig in Switzerland is a popular
destination for tourists from all around the world. Brig is situated
close to the Italian and Swiss border and is surrounded by the
beautiful Swiss alps.

The scenery is truly spectacular, and is what draws most of the visitors

During the summer the most popular activity is walking, and there are
over 150km of marked hiking trails throughout the town and around
the region. There are also lots of cycling routes. The Rosswald viewing
platform offers unrivalled views over the town and beyond. Another
popular attraction are the Brig Baths, which is one of Switzerland’s
largest open-air thermal centers.
